Biography

Bessie Lee Kellogg Franklin age 79, of Milano, died Friday, February 26 at her home. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Chad LeGrone officiating. Burial will follow in the Milano Cemetery. Family visitation will be Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Franklin, a homemaker was born October 3, 1930 in Houston to William Newton and Lillian Amelia (Tunis) Kellogg. She married Billy Eugene Franklin and he preceded her in death in 1994. She was also preceded in death by a son, 4 brothers Daniel Kellogg, Donnie Kellogg, Willie Kellogg, Elmer (Uncle DoeDoe) Kellogg, and a sister Vida Key.
